What if I want to buy a beanie but it is not available in my size? 

Email me at SarahIreneKnits@gmail.com with details and (no guarantees) I might be able to add the item in the size you desire to my "what to make next" list and I can contact you when I upload it to the website for sale.

Keep in mind that these are knit items that have a good range of stretch! If you get a size smaller, the hat will fit snugly. If you get a size bigger, the hat will be more slouchy. Going up or down a size can be a preference in the fit you desire. So, if the item is a size bigger or smaller, it may still work for you if you are looking for a specific type of fit.

How do I care for my knit item?

100% Wool and Wool Blend items will last a lifetime with proper care, so be sure to follow the care instructions:

Whenever possible, spot clean only with mild soap and cool water. Lay flat to dry.

If more thorough cleaning becomes necessary, try to keep the tag and any attached faux fur pom pom from getting wet as much as possible. Hand wash the item in cool water with mild soap. Rinse in cool water. Lay flat to dry.

Fluff faux fur pom pom back up with a quick blast from a hair dryer on the cool air setting.

Never put wool items in the washing machine or dryer, as this will cause your wool item to felt!

Other materials like cotton blends and acrylic do not require you to be as gentle as wool, however taking the same approach of cool water and gentle soap is the best way to have the item last as long as possible.

What if I don't like the tag on my item?

All of the Sarah Irene Knits tags are removeable with a screwdriver. Go for it!

Note that I do not put tags on any hats in Child sizes (0-6 months, 6-12 months, Toddler) so as not to pose a choking hazard. If you buy a larger size hat or another item to give to a small child, you must remove the tag.

When will my item ship? 

Currently we are shipping to the United States and Canada.  

Your items will ship within 5 days of your order unless you are notified differently at the time of your order.  

Delivery times after shipping will depend on the carrier. Tracking info will be provided to you for your order.

Can I return an item?

Returns are accepted for items that are not to your liking for whatever reason. Items must be in original, unworn condition or a refund will not be issued.

Email me at SarahIreneKnits@gmail.com with your order info within 5 days of delivery for further instructions. Items must be shipped back to Sarah Irene Knits within 7 days of delivery. You are responsible for the shipping costs to send the items back to Sarah Irene Knits. 

Refund will be processed within 24 hours of receipt of the return.
